Your responsibilities as a Business Development Manager:

  • Research, source, identify and contact new clients by phone, email, and other creative marketing sources
  • Aggressively prospect for new business in assigned territory
  • Anticipate and creatively solve problems based on customer needs
  • Maximize revenue within accounts, territory, and industry segment
  • Work effectively with people in multiple departments
  • Travel 5-8 times per year for client visits and trade shows
  • Maintain or exceed an aggressive monthly revenue target
  • Accurately maintain and update CRM system

Applicant requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required  
  • Cold calling or call center environment experience a plus
  • Staffing, recruiting, or consultative B2B sales skills preferred but not required
  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Verifiable, consistent employment history
