Job Summary
A facility in Georgia just opened a new GI service and is seeking a Board Certified GI Proceduralist and a GI Hospitalist – To start as soon as possible
· Gastroenterology Fellowship required
· Eligibility for Georgia Medical License
· For Proceduralist Experience with freestanding clinic and on site businesses
· Comfort overseeing PA/NP
· Endoscopy Suite in several hospital locations fully equipped
· Procedures typical for GI Procedural Physician – colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound and EGD
· GI Hospitalist – Providing inpatient coordination of care, consults, focus of care in the inpatient setting
· Competitive salary – MGMA Based
· Call Schedule – 1 / 4 weeks for Proceduralists and Hospitalists 8-5 or 7 on/off schedule
· Benefits – Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, STD, 403b
· Relocation/Moving Expenses – Depending on distance from Augusta – between $5,000 and $15,000 for expenses that qualify under IRS Publication 521
· Sign on Bonus – Depending on experience / background and total comp package – $15,000 to $25,000
· Loan Forgiveness – Depending on experience / background and total comp package – $1,500 – $2,000 per month either paid directly to loan agency or reimbursed to physician with proof of payment
