• 12 hour shifts; 7a-7p
• Needs 3 weeks/month of coverage
• 2 weekends of call per month
• No weekday call

Facility looking for inpatient Intensivist at Tuomey due to staffing shortage. 7a-7p, 12 hour shifts, needed from April – June 2021. 3 weeks/month. Weekend call requirement: 2 shifts. No weekday call. Primary responsibility to round in the ICU 7 am to 7 pm. Physicians round with respiratory therapist, pharmacist, social worker and critical care trained nurses. Procedures performed are placement of central and arterial lines and intubation. Patient Volume: 8-12 patients daily Population: Adult, community patients EMR: Meditech/EPIC Requirements: Board certification in Critical Care. 1 – 2 years experience. Special Procedures: intubation and placement of arterial and central lines Skills Required: Ventilator management and placement of central and arterial lines and intubation **Must have worked inpatient within the last 90 days **No more than one previous malpractice history **Disaster privileging is possible **Rate is firm, plus expenses
